Rubicon is seeking a Director of Sales to oversee our Sales team (4-5 employees). The Director of Sales will provide leadership, management, and vision to ensure the company delivers exceptional client experience and timely responses to meet company’s objectives. Will also be responsible to drive sales objectives and achieve budgets and targets. CRM training to ensure team adherence to processes while using tools to track performance. Building strong and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in Sales/Relationship management experience, knowledge of commercial construction and tenant improvement/maintenance processes
  • Proven ability to successfully hire and train new sales representatives and coach lower performers to success
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Experience setting sales goals
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like NetSuite and others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Excel
  • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing accounts to maximize all sales opportunities and meet territory revenue and profit targets
  • Be the Face and Voice of Rubicon to our clients/customers
  • Working side by side, train, coach & develop direct reports for leadership development
  • Prepare sales goals, budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and permit paperwork
  • Ensure achievement of annual sales and margin goals by leading the sales team in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Oversee and manage the Change Order Process, RFI Process
  • Explain contract and technical matters in a consistent and timely manner
  • Collaborate as needed with, Architects, Engineers, and construction Personnel
  • Problem solves to address delays, emergencies, and other issues
  • Gather sales leads, via data, prospecting strategy’s, trade associations
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
  • Always be the example of what Rubicon expects in these areas, i.e., PPE, professional appearance, timeliness, etc.

Compensation:

  • $100,000 - $125,000 salary per year, DOE
  • Uncapped commissions based on your team’s performance
